I was so excited!I have never imagined that this day would come in my life. I was at the place where entrepreneurs were honored and this was one of the biggest award affairs of India. Especially for entrepreneurs. The thought of receiving an award from this stage itself gave me goosebumps. Receiving “The start-up company of the year” before a lot of intellectuals and young business minds. It was a great experience but I’m more interested in the award of the event, the best entrepreneur of the year than mine, eager to know about that guy who bagged the award. Finally, the announcement was made my thinking gone wrong. The winner was not a man, she was a gorgeous woman with a beautiful smile on her face, a perfect example of a woman with beauty and brain combination. And wait! I knew her or at least I saw her before, a little glimpse of my subconscious mind was enough to recognize her, after a lot of thought process and recalling old memories thank god! I am able to recognize her. I have to admit the fact that I know her but she didn’t know me. I want to start a conversation with her it was important quite necessary but it is really hard for a guy who rarely speaks to women and the weirdest part is, I am going to say her about her love story, A BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY.
She was too busy with over-whelming greetings from the people in the arena, the sad part in India is no one recognizes the talent before and no one encourages for his/her aspirations but, if one succeeds, no one leaves him/her free and a celebrity status is assured.
After some time I got a chance to meet her and all my fellow entrepreneurs. Thank god! She recognized me and greeted me with a smile and gave the best wishes for my company and for my future projects. For some time we discussed our goals and at last with a lot of courage, I asked her for a coffee tomorrow she reluctantly said yes. And I don’t care she is willing to listen to or not I care about my eagerness to say.
NEXT DAY @CAFETERIA and the conversation starts……
me: Guess why I called you here?
Nidhi: Discussion about a business venture or a favor!
me: what if I say you about a love story?
Nidhi: Are you kidding?
me: No, I am damn serious.
Nidhi: ok! I am free now and it had been so long I listened to a love story. Hope it’s interesting.
She ended with a smile…
Now the story begins….
